About Me
Hey!!! You can call me Wen or Jason.
I would say I am a hospitable, friendly and humorous person, possibly just like most other Taiwanese.
Traveling has been a vital part of my life since I commenced my first overseas journey in New Zealand.
There seems countless countries and places that you eager to discover whereas you would never explore all of them...
I’ve done the “Working holiday” for three years respectively in New Zealand, Ireland and Australia after I served as an officer in the military of Taiwan for five years.
I am planning to go to Canada on Feb 2020 and continue my subsequent journey!!! 🤪
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As far as I am concerned, the main reason for surfing at someone’s place is to get to know the local culture or hidden spots through the eyes of local of the country that you are traveling in.
I am especially fascinated by diverse cultures every time when I travel abroad. So I do appreciate for those hosts and friends I’ve ever met during my trip as they gave me so much inspiration and even changed my mindset.
I like to prepare some little gifts from Taiwan for my host and cook them a meal( if possible) or take them out for a meal. That’s the least I can do in return.
In contrast, I also get to know more about my own culture, city and country when I host someone. It can be challenging to explain everything in English to foreign friends, however, it definitely provides a wonderful chance to view your world in a new light.
In conclusion, we can definitely save some money via using CS especially when we are on a budget trip, but that’s absolutely not the main purpose of couchsurfing.
Let’s make good use of it and spread the spirit of it!!!🤗🤗🤗

No. As I’ve been living in a quite ordinary life. Haha~🤫
Teach, Learn, Share
I don’t think I can teach something to someone. Personally, there should be more Learning and Sharing. As long as you are willing to share, you can always learn something no matter what kind of people you encounter.
