I've been a member some years ago but can not use for some reason it - that's why I'm doing this again!
I'm married, have a big family - though only one of our kids is living whith us any more, others are adults, have their own families (we already have ten grandchildren!) We live near Oulu, in a place called Kiiminki. I work in the social field and my husband drives taxi.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have hosted many foreing students over years and loved it; it has been so fantastic to get to know people all around the world. Two years ago we took an Interrail Pass and travelled in many European countries. We aimed to ask some couchsurfer to host us but then decided to visit our friends. The best of travelling is to meet the locals, get to know new people and learn something new every time you meet a new person!

Interests

I love reading and am reading always when it's possible. We spend a lot of time just staying home with the family; on weekends our home is full of life - the children who are married visit us often with their families. We talk, make food and have sauna, of course!
