I'm a Finnish student doing my master in translation in the university of Turku. I love travelling, meeting new people and discovering new cultures.
I like reading though I can't name any favorite book, because I always forget their names!
I'm also a social person and I talk a lot. A quick phone call with me to ask how I've been doing easily ends up lasting a few hours.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and to discover their cultures. Peoples' homes are the best way to see how people in that country live.

Interests

As I said, I love travelling. You just can't get he thrill that you get arriving to a new foreign place from anywhere else. I'm interested in cultures, and understanding them will also be my job: it's very important in translating.

I've gone from movies to TV series lately, True Blood was my favorite but now that it's ended I'm waiting new episodes of Game of Thrones, Mad Men and Girls. Boardwalk empire was a good one too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done was to be an au pair. I had always lived at my parents, so it was scary to be away from them back then, also being in weird peoples' place was scary, not knowing the language was scary. But it ended up being the best year of my life!
