I’m a PhD student currently living in München, Germany. I come from Concepción, Chile, a very bohemian city, hosting the Universidad de Concepcion, a beautiful Chilean university that turns the entire place into a student-minded city.
I love science as well as sports and traveling. I like rock climbing an bouldering very much and I think it is also one of the best means to travel around and get to know the not-so-touristic places nearby.
Looking forward to meet new people and to get to know different cultures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like traveling, most of all because is the best way to gain knowledge empirically. There is no book, story or video which can tell you exactly how the places are, how things feel, sound, smell, taste and look like, exactly as traveling can do. Living an experience is the only way to prove yourself that something is true.

Wherever you go, out of your already well known comfort zone, meeting a local person is the best way to get really acquainted with the place. There's no touristic information that could tell you the real story as a local host could do, so, go and meet people!.
Based on this, I found that Couchsurfing provides for us, a (kind of) reliable platform to accomplish exactly what I was taking about. So, that's why I'm in.
