About Me

Adventurist, Athlete, People's Person.
Really love the outdoors, can't think of many outdoor activities that I haven't tried at one point. Would like to one day bike across Canada (Horseback riding... I've never tried horseback riding) from coast to coast. Also want to discover all the beautiful wilderness this amazing province that is BC has to offer.
Right now though, 20 hours a week of training is keeping me busy. I am a varsity athlete at UBCO, and my immediate goal is to make team Triathlon Canada by qualifying through long distance nationals at Montreal.
In the long run, I would like to spend some time living in Switzerland so I can ski in the Alps; in New Zealand to discover their mountain ranges; and in Africa/East Asia to volunteer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to live in Ontario for about a month this summer while racing and embracing the east coast lifestyle (and maybe working).
Once I have my own place in Vancouver, I'll be happy to take in guests and show them the great city that I get to call Home.

Interests

Anything outdoors
Finding out just how far you can push the human body in endurance sports
And reading (sometimes... only when its outdoors; and its really nice out; like 23 degrees and sunny)

Music, Movies, and Books

Book: A life without limits, Christie Wellington
*seriously this is one hell of a book
Music: 80s, 90s, top40... who am I kidding, I just listen to Eminem all the time
Movies: I like classics (300, Brave Heart, Gladiator... just to name a few), also we could be best friends if you like Step Brothers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm... let's just say I like to stay humble

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to improve my french, learn to do a handstand without using the wall as a support, or learn to play an instrument.
I can in return teach someone arabic, and show them the good places to get food in Vancouver.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good times, card games, childhood memories, and most importantly I can do their dishes (unless they're a family of four)

Countries I’ve Visited

Saudi Arabia, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Iraq, Jordan, United Arab Emirates
