Overview
About Me
I'm open-minded (at least that's what people say of me), I can do with almost everything. I'm curious about things I don't know, I like learning about new places and cultures. I'm adventurous, I'm always willing to try new things (to a certain extend of course, I won't stand in the middle of a highway for fun, no). I have a good sense of humour, I can always turn a serious situation into something funny. I love to laugh and socialise, I think laughter and meeting people are great ways to enjoy life. I also love good food (I have been told that I should open a restaurant) and anything that involves dancing (it's good for the body and the soul). Although I don't do much sport anymore, I'm still crazy about basketball, and sports events are always good opportunities to socialise. I have also been told that I'm a good listener, so if you need to offload, I'm here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like travelling, but I'm not really the tourist type of guy. I prefer the living experience, not the guided tours. I think couchsurfing is the best way to experience a country's culture, rather than staying in hotels. By leaving with locals, you get a better insight on the daily life, the culture, the language, etc. And it is a great way to make friends, and learn from our differences as human beings.
Interests
I'm passionate about people; their ways, their cultures, their languages. I live with music; I listen to and appreciate almost everything, I think music is a great way to express feelings and emotions. I love medias (tv, radio, print, internet) and the way they. can be used nowadays for almost everything. I'm a creative person, so I like my art, in every forms. I'm interested in politics, because it has the biggest influence in our societies. I'm very business-minded, I always see opportunities everywhere I go and I like developing these ideas. I'm love travelling (although I haven't been around the world yet), I like going to remote places and enjoy those little pieces of paradise on earth.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm open to every type of music except metal rock (and I tried), if it is something I can groove on, that's even better. I like movies and tv series; my favourites are epic, fantasy, historical, horror, suspense, thriller and sci-fi; yet a good comedy or drama can get me seated every now and then; reality tv is also good as long as it is educational, motivational, or inspirational in some way. I'm not a big reader, but the right book can take me for a read; but if there is a film adaptation of the book, I'll definitely pick the movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I made someone's day, and he was a total stranger to me. Yet, seeing the joy in his eyes and how grateful he was... best feeling ever :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach basic salsa dancing. I can cook, I have been told many times that I'm good at it, plus I read somewhere that a person is more likely to appreciate you once you feed him/her. I can teach or tutor French (free of charge).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my intellect; I don't look like it but people say I'm smart. I can share my life experiences, my good humour and my cooking; perfect ingredients in the recipe of a nice evening at home. I can share my shoulder and my ear; something listening to others' drama is a good way to learn about life. And I can also share some of my wisdom; there is not much of it, but it can always help.
