About Me

I'm an active, outdoorsy, social, and fun loving guy. I love to travel and meet new people. Unfortunately, it's not always possible to get away, so why not let the travel come to me! I'm always down for an adventure. I like to hike, camp, and get out into nature as much as I can. Afterwards, I am always down for a fun night out!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have traveled a fair amount and a lot of different ways (with friends, significant others, alone, hosteling, road tripping with people, motorcycle tripping by myself, motels, hotels, resorts, etc.) and have found that I enjoy it most when I get to meet local people and find the hidden gems. I feel like Couchsurfing is the perfect place to find that type of travel!

Interests

Hiking, camping, snowboarding, hockey, meditation, meeting new people, riding, guitar, music... The list is too long. We'll have something in common! I promise!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: The Beatles... Classic rock in general... any music that requires talent that I can groove or dance to (indie, punk, ska, metal, dub step, techno, pop music, some country, some hip hop)... you name it, I can find a way to appreciate it.

Movies: Forrest Gump, Blow, Donnie Brasco, Goodfellas, The God Father, Forgetting Sarah Marshal, I Love You Man, Aladdin, Pocahontas, the Lion King, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast.

Books: Self help/motivational, Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire, The Hunger Games.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Motorcycle road trip from Ottawa to Burning Man. On the way, I hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, learned to surf at Venice Beach, rode up to Big Sur, hiked Yosemite, chilled in San Francisco, and met some of the most interesting people ever at Burning Man.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am involved with spiritual and meditation and learning how to appreciate what we have. I am always down for a "meaning of life" conversation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Positive energy, good stories, good laughs, interesting conversation, whatever you need at that particular time in your life.

Countries I’ve Visited
