About Me

My name is Nina, I'm 22years old and I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina but I lived in Cordoba for 12 years until this year in which I came back to Buenos Aires.
In 2014, I lived for 6 months in Oxford, England and that's when I met couchsurfing. I didn't have the best experiences and at that time I was even younger that now so I stopped using the network but I've recently came back to it again and met amazing people and collected some anecdotes I'll carry with me always.
I really like meeting new cultures, socializing and getting to know people. I'm used to travelling alone (which is not my favourite thing to do but it teaches you hell of a lot as well).
I'm vegetarian and a cat lover. I like to cook or at least try to! Since I became vegetarian I've learnt lot about the nutrients and proteins your body needs, which I think we should all be aware and conscious about. I love cooking and I really like to share experiences and knowledge with people about dishes!
When I travel, I love walking around. I'm a fan of all forms and expressions of art so museums and galleries are also on my top list to do but for me taking a stroll around the city is what really shows you what's there, and even more if you're lucky to be with a local who shows you their point of view!
I'm an artist, a performer, and a film enthusiast. In my city I tend to go to the movies at least once a week. I've been working on film for a few years now. Mostly, I'm a production designer but I started directing my own films this year. Don't be surprised if you always see me carrying around my cameras all day (my back tends to hurt always but it's worth it).
I've been using couchsurfing as a platform for meeting people around the world, but also as a medium to travel with a low budget. Since I moved to my own place, I've always been very open to host people. I don't mind having people around my appartment if they respect the few rules I have. I have a Virgo moon and I like my place to be tidy, but that's basically it. I don't mind people smoking, or staying up late, or whatever. If I don't have people staying over, you're more than welcome to stay here. I like to believe that the world can change a bit if we keep helping each other out. It's all about a give and take.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling around the world and sometimes alone is not easy so I'd like to meet people to hang out and enrich both of us by hanging out and exchanging experiences from different cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Exchange programme in England for 6 months! You can't even imagine how much you learn by moving to another country for a long period of time. It can sometimes be hard but you learn so much about yourself and others. If you ever have the opportunity, don't even doubt it, GO FOR IT.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you ever go to Córdoba or Buenos Aires I'll be happy to show you around (if I'm not busy at the moment, ofc)! I'm not the best tourist guide but I have my favourite places, some nice coffee stores to show you and a fun and outgoing personality :) I'll probably take some pictures of you, so you're warned!
If you host me, then I can promise you your house it's your rules! And if you like we can cook together, listen to good music or share a wine (btw, I love wine and beer). Sometimes, I really like to go out but I don't usually party in clubs or things like that, more quiet environments or pubs are my preference.
