About Me

Hi everyone! I'm Jonathan, a 22yo Spanish/Irish guy from Mallorca, Spain. I've just finished a master's in European Public Affairs in Maastricht and now I'm working in Brussels, at the heart of Europe. I have a passion for travelling, learning & meeting people in the process!

I'd describe myself as a sensitive person, calm & curious about life and people. I'm a happy guy, trying to live the present day

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's the perfect way for locals to meet travellers, so we can both share the magic of a place with different eyes

I'm fairly new to the Couchsurfing world (started in summer 2016 whilst travelling south-est France on my own) and so far I'm loving it!

I haven't had the opportunity to host anyone yet, but I will whenever it's possible

Music, Movies, and Books

-Music I listen to: NAO, Oscar and the Wolf, Jordan Rakei, Jamie Woon, Fat Freddy's Drop - I'd describe it as a mix between soul, r&b & electronic pop

-Books & movies: I'm a potterhead! Big fan of the Harry Potter universe. I like reading all sorts of books, but mostly fiction. I really enjoyed Ken Follet's historical novels, especially his trilogy "The Century".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteer in the south France for a few weeks in different farms and vineyards and then travel around by myself, improving my French, couchsurfing with locals and non-locals & embracing French culture and lifestyle

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm hoping it will be a cultural exchange, an experience to learn from one another

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Scotland, Sweden, Turkey, United States, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In
