Hi, my name is shane im from ireland. Im 20 years of age and im basically an irish stereotype. Im an out doors person love doing sports activites etc. I study psychology so im sort of inquisitive especially about new places and ways of life. im very openned to new experiences especially if there cultural i will just go with it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im couch surfing mainly because i like to see new places but i also like to see what its like to live in those places and the best way to do that is to talk to the locals. i also like to couch surf because when you stay with locals they some times show you the place your visiting in a new light different to what most tourist see. they give you the locals perspective and recommend places that most people travelling there would never go to. it seems the best way to fully capture the essence of a place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving, Rode a tandem bike that was decorated in carboard to look like a boat through the ghetto in Baltimore during the riots haha.
