About Me

I'm a chilean engineering student currently studying in France for a double degree.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet new people, get to know the culture from the inside, how a person really lives on their country. Also people open to this kind of activities sure are open-minded, thus I'm sure that I'll get along and have a great time talking over a drink with them!

Interests

-Playing Music, including guitar, piano, a little accordeon and singing. I love karaoke!
-Series, from Friends to Arrow, and of course Game of Thrones, Sherlock, How I met your Mother and many more!
-Movies: Amelie, Les Choristes, Les Intouchables, Shawshank Redemption, Batman, Red Dragon, Despicable Me, Megamind, Shrek, Up, How to train your Dragon for a start :P
-Travelling: I have lived in many countries and love to get to know other cultures and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy pretty much every type of music, but I mostly listen to rock, techno and sometimes a little classical music.
About movies I'd say that I love thrillers, having to guess what is actually going to happen is always a blast! But of course I wouldn't say no to a comedy or an action movie from time to time.
It's been a long time since I've picked up a book, but I'd say that the fantasy genre is my favorite, with Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings, In the Name of the Wind, Eragon and many others. I'm always open to suggestions, since it'd be nice to start reading again!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can see my younger self bathing in the Dead Sea and trying as hard as he could to sink, but it was impossible. That was really unbelievable!
I stayed in Cologne (Germany) for three weeks to improve my german with an intensive course. There I met a very diverse group of people and fell in love with the international atmosphere I experienced! It is one of the reasons I love the couchsurfing experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd happily share some of my life experiences and listen to others do the same over a drink and some food (:

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm really open and love having a good talk, specially if it's over a drink. I love getting to know a new culture! I also like cooking, so if anybody's up for it I could do a few pancakes! And last but not least, it seems that I'm not bad at all at massaging, but I'd love to get a little more practice.
