I am an energetic and fun person. I grew up in South Africa and are now living in the Netherlands as an au pair. I love meeting new people, learning new things and of course travelling! I like to experience different foods, cultures and languages. I am a very easy going person and like to try everything at least once. I like adventures but in the next moment I can also easily relax. I adapt very easily to situations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet different people and everything that comes with that, like learning new languages, new food and the culture. I would like to travel in Europe but also I would really like to host when I am back in South Africa, it's not possible at the moment because I am an au pair, but I will still like to show you around whenever in my area in Holland.

Interests

I enjoy travelling of course, I like a good adrenaline rush, so in other words: anything action packed. I like being in nature and also experiencing amazing architecture. My interests are very broad and I can spend one night partying but the next hiking a beautiful trail. I like anything from snorkeling to Walking through museums and I can sit still for long enough to read a good book too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most types of music, it is part of my everyday life. I am not a big hip hop fan, but sometimes if the mood strikes, I like that too. I like Indie rock the most I think. Favorite artist of all is probably Jack Johnson. Movies, I don't really watch to many movies, but I like a movie with a twist. I read so many books and I like to vary the types of books I read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well basically I grew up in South Africa so everything has been pretty amazing, I mean riding a lion to work and stuff like that you know. Well all jokes aside, I have bungee jumped and that was pretty amazing. But to be true, I have done quite a few amazing things and I do have some great stories.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning more than teaching I think. But whatever you do not know and I do, I will love teaching you that. I think we can all learn something from each other, old or young.
