I'm 19 years old, currently living in Long Island, New York and working as an au pair. I am originally from Germany, but love to travel so you'll find me all over the globe at some point (hopefully).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said I like to travel and couch surfing combines a cheap way to stay somewhere with meeting new people from all over the world. It's really intimate to let someone stay at your home, but I think it's also very nice to make friends wherever you go.

Music, Movies, and Books

I guess my favorite music is everything that's german, even if I like all those pop songs and everything, I prefer german quite music with deep lyrics.
At the moment my favorite movie is the fault in our stars, but it's really difficult to make a real decision.
I can't talk about my favorite book, but my favorite authors. They are John Green and Jodi Picoult.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've left my home country right after I graduated. I hope that's amazing enough, after all I've left my whole family and came here all on my own, new language, new continent, new people. Was pretty overwhelming, but it shaped me pretty well.
