Somos Ava (canadiense-china) y Zoe (francesa y canadiense), dos chicas visitando Barcelona en los primeros días de Junio. Hace tres años que nos conocimos en Vietnam cuando estábamos trabajando para una ONG en las montañas del norte del país. Soy una graduada recién de una maestría en desarrollo cooperacion internacional en Amsterdam y Ava es una estudiante de derecho en Estados Unidos. Entre nosotras, hablamos chino, francés, castellano, ingles y un poquiiiito de portugués. Estaremos en Barcelona para asistir al festival musical Primavera Sound. Aunque asistiremos a un festival en Barcelona, somos amables y respetuosa como huéspedes. Nos gustariamos mucho conocer la ciudad desde la perspectiva de un local.

Sabemos que estaremos en Barcelona por un buen ratito de tiempo y no pedimos tu tiempo por todo la duración del nuestro viaje (aunque sería muy agradable). Si pudieras ofrecernos alojamiento por dos o tres días al principio o al fin de nuestro tiempo en Barcelona, nos ayudaría mucho mucho. Siempre, le gustamos invitar a nuestro huésped por un almuerzo o cena para decir gracias!

We are two girls passing through Barcelona in early June. Our names are Ava (Chinese-Canadian) and Zoe (French and Canadian)! We are fun-loving, relaxed, and responsible. Between us, we speak Chinese, French, Spanish, English, and a tiny bit of Portuguese.

We will be attending the Primavera Sound music festival in Barcelona and we are looking for a place to stay for those dates (housing in Europe is so expensive, and we'd love to meet local hosts while having fun!!). We understand those are a lot of dates, so even if you could host us for two/three nights either at the beginning or the end of our time in Barcelona, we would really appreciate it! We would love to take our host out for a brunch or lunch as a way of saying thanks. Although we are attending a music festival, we promise to remain relaxed and respectful guests. I am a is a recent grad of the U of Amsterdam in international development and Ava is a law student in the United States. We met three years ago while working in Vietnam!!!
