Overview
About Me
My name is Tom Andriani and born and raised in Old Bridge, NJ. I went to college at West Virginia University where I earned a BS in Strategic Communications (public relations and advertising) as well as a BS in Sports and Exercise Psychology. I have numerous jobs and internships that reflect my outgoing personality and numerous interests. I am a runner/caterer for the PNC Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ. My job as a runner is when an artist comes in, their production manager or their personal manager asks to go pick something specific up for them. The last 6 months, I worked for Oakley Sunglasses as a sales representative. I also interned with Randy Foye, shooting gaurd for the Denver Nuggets as his event coordinator last summer for his charity. This past fall I was an intern with WVU's strength and conditioning staff learning NCAA D1 work outs from the football coaches as well as assisting the baseball team. I love football and soccer, and love watching other country field sports like Rugby and Hurling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The summer of 2015 I plan on going cross country and fulfilling one of my life goals of running a mile in each state in an awesome location. Example being in PA, running a mile that ends on the town hall steps like from the Rocky films. I just graduated college, do not have a career, and am currently single- this is the best time to go cross country, travel, and knock out on of my life goals. I was hoping this app would help me find a couch to sleep on (instead of my car) and a laundry machine to use.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like pop-punk and not the cliche Blink-182 kind. I like the current, new trend kind like the Story So Far, Knuckle puck, The Wonder Years, etc. I also like folk-punk like Modern Baseball, Mailbox Rule, and Larry and His Flask.
Favorite movie of all time is Dodgeball, but I like pretty much anything that is a comedy, action, superhero/comic or academy bait films- I could have a discussion on just about any feature film- I dislike people that think Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell are funny because they were funny in the 90s and are irrelevant now. I hate nostalgia. I can have REAL conversations about REAL films.
As far as books go, I enjoy text books about exercise and the human body. Although, I did enjoy the Artemis Fowl and Lorein Legacy books. My favorite book of all time is Blood, Sweat and Chalk, where Sports Illustrated writers went across country learning the history of different formations, game plans, plays, and playbooks for football.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2008, I spent two weeks backpacking in the mountains of New Mexico in Philmont Ranch (I am an Eagle Scout). Also, this past April, I took a weekend out of nowhere on a whim and drove to Toronto to see the greatest rivalry in hockey (the Maple Leafs at home against the Montreal Canadians).
Teach, Learn, Share
I always love learning new things. If you can teach me something I do not know, that would be awesome. I can teach about film and tv production as that is what I studied my first two years of college but now I can teach a pretty good workout. My pet dog is an a English Short-Haired Pointer and you can help us train for hunting.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Tv and film production and killer exercise and workout programs.
