About Me

I am from New Zealand and travelling around the world for 6 months at the moment between jobs. I did a bachelor of commerce in New Zealand and lived in Germany for one semester. I grew up in a small town in New Zealand and have lived in the capital, Wellington for nearly 4 years. I am a bubbly, talkative person and love to meet new people. I am also a seasoned traveller so I am tidy and am good at sleeping in random places!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and getting to know the city/town from a local's perspective. I have done a lot of travel in hostels and hotels and am sick of being a tourist! I enjoy the extra insight you can gain from staying with a local and having them show you around the "secret treasures" of a place! I have had some extraordinary experiences staying with people and have made some amazing friends from Couchsurfing so I just love it!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I will listen to just about anything but I have a soft spot for rap! SURPRISE.
I'm currently reading a book called: 50 years of Travel about a guy who has travelled to every country in the entire world!!! I love it!
I'm not that into movies and haven't watched a TV show in my 4 months of travel but if I do watch a movie it won't be a thriller or horror.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode a jetski through a waterfall filmed in The Lord of the Rings.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyday you should do something that reminds you you're still alive - AJ Hackett (inventor of the buggy jump).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Anything you want to know about New Zealand, all my music tastes, a great and clean house mate and if you would like I can cook my famous mac and cheese meal!
I also love to talk about anything to do with travel so if you want some tips, a discussion or a laugh about travel experiences I'm up for all of it!
