If You'd ask me to describe myself in one sentence.. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't start telling You I'm 1.65 m tall, have red hair and I'm in my 20s ...most likely I would qoute You this very simple yet absolutely wonderful qoute of George Bernard Shaw: “You see things; you say, 'Why?' But I dream things that never were; and I say 'Why not?”; Because what I've descovered in my 25 years - the most important thing is that You live according to Your true self and reach Your goals and dreams. I truly believe that we can achieve all our dreams; if we can dream it - we can do it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing to (hopefully) find a way to spend less money while travelling and to meet people all over the world who can make my journey experiences much more richer and worthwhile.

Interests

My interests.. huh.. I could speak about my interests all day long.. and I'm not jocking, 'cause I've sooo many!!!
I love dancing and singing (have sang in a choir for many years and even had an honor to participate (twice[!]) in the biggest singing festival in Latvia - "Latvian Song and Dance Festival" (that is also one of the largest amateur choral events in the world AND Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity) if You haven't visited one - it's a must! Seriously!Search it in a Youtube and You'll understand what I'm talking about! :)
Besides that I play piano and a little bit guitar.. and I really enjoy live music concerts!
what else.. I'm really attracted to skateboarding although I've been thinking about/ trying to learn skateing since my 14th birthday and still havent really done that - my interest in reaching this goal havent decreased.
I grew up in a countryside so I love being in a nature, hiking, swimming, riding a bike. I think there is something delightful and magical about nature 'cause everytime whel I feel depressed or down and go somewhere outside of the city border I start to feel much, much better the minute I sense wind in my hair and fresh air.
I like active lifestyle, so through years I've practised/ tried out different sport activities, for example - running, floorball, kickboxing, etc.
One thing that I couldn't live without is photography! Taking pictures is the one thing that brings the most joy to my soul! Obvious that I'm interested as well in other forms of art: painting, drawing, DIY, grafic design, interior design, etc.
As there are so many things that attracts my attention I really enjoy trying new things and moving around that's why I think travelling is such an amazing thing to do! As once said one wise person "Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer"

Music, Movies, and Books

I really do enjoy watching movies and I love music and time by time I find it worthwhile to read books 'cause these things inspire me and lifts my mood :)
Movies I would recomend watching would be: The secret life of Walter Mitty, Tracks, Into the Wild, 127 Hours, Safety Not Guaranteed, Veronika decides to die, The Way, Pursuit of Happiness. ..well there are much more I could add to this list, if You'd ask my friends they would confirm to You that I've seen quite a lot of movies :)
I can listen to almost any genre of music, depends entirely on my mood :)
Speeking about books - mostly I like novels, thrillers, autobiographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't really name One Amazing Thing I've Done. ..Life is about courage and going into unknown... So I think taking each day one step more than You think You can - is something amazing!
