About Me

Hi there! I am Paula :) born and raised in Santiago de Chile. Since I am an student on my own city I live at my parents home so I don't have enough space right now to accept guests but I hope to be able to receive people soon :)
I consider myself a lover of nature and landscapes but also adore to discover the history of cities by long walks and chatting with the locals.

PHYLOSOPHY
Being the world so big and life so long... we cannot stay the same place the whole life. To grow up as a person we need to get closer to the unknown... and the only way a traveler can get to know the world is to know the people who lives in it, experiencing the culture from the inside.
People is kind, they bring you happiness... but you won't find the real kindness of the world in your hotel room.

Interests

- My favorite thing to do is PHOTOGRAPHY! (you can find my photography facebook page under the name of "Paula Espíndola Photography")
- I also like carpentry a lot but I must admit to be a little bit lazy to put my hands to work! But once I am on it no one can stop me!
- Trekking is one of my favorite outdoor activities, it brings me peace and happiness!
- I consider myself a film buff.
- Love bakery!! It's so nice to see others enjoy what you have made with love :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is independent-folk music and I totally adore ethnic african/asian music... it relaxes me so much! It's therapeutic. I also listen q-dance and electronic for parties and everytime I do running.
Anyway, I'm open to any other kind of music! :)
***
About movies I love:
1. Old cine-noir.
2. Movies shot in exotic landscapes or cities
3. Indepedent movies with a great lesson!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The W-trekk on Torres del Paine. The coolest trekking I have ever done!
Mini trekking on Perito Moreno glacier... walking on ice? AMAZING!

Teach, Learn, Share

Life has been done to share...
Besides photography, cuisine and carpentry... I think the most wonderful thing we can share with other is our own experiences in life!!
