Overview
About Me
I am originally from Sydney, Australia. I definitely caught my travel bug from my first exchange where I spent year in Munich, Germany and just had to come back to Europe for another exchange in Aarhus, Denmark.
I love seeing new people, trying new foods and being engrossed in other cultures. After couch surfing throughout June- November 2019, I am finally
back in Sydney. Between work/ saving up for my next adventure I am more than happy to host a few solo travellers if time allows :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started couchsurfing 2015 but took a turn towards Airbnbs for the convenience. However, I am going back to couchsurfing because nothing beats living with a local and getting to know the area through their eyes.
You tend to miss the hidden gems- especially in regards to good genuine food spots. I also find couchsurfing a bit more relaxing than having to rush between place to place.
Interests
Who doesn't like food? I am also an avid street photographer and love taking photos of everyday life. I am also an outdoors person and will be keen to go for a hike anywhere, anytime.
If you’ve read this far.....also mention my other interest which is my dog Milo!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Many people visit Turkey and Cappadocia during the summer or when the weather is nicer. I decided to visit Turkey when a snow storm was happening. And especially in Cappadocia, you couldn’t imagine the cold or the amount of snow we received. After three cancelled mornings, we were finally able to embark on our hot air balloon ride. Despite the negative degrees and frozen digits, the view was absolutely breathtaking. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Turkey!
