I´m Marie, I´m 20 and I currently study Industrial Design Engineering in Den Haag.I´ve finished school last year and then moved to England as an AuPair,which was probably the best thing to do. I lived in Southend near the seaside wich was beautiful,but grew up near Munich so not living near the mountains was quite the change .I think I missed the beach which is one of the reason I ended up living in a seaside town again. Scheveningen beach is only a 10 minute bike ride from my house :) But as I only just moved here,I don´t really know much about the city. But I´d love to get to know more about it. My family´s been on couch surfing since 2009. So we always had lots of people visiting and staying with us and I´m used to live in a busy house,which I really liked.
I love to travel and see new things. And I´m super eagle to learn anything from languages to art history or fun unknown facts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I´m on here because, I´d love to meet people and learn their stories. I´d love to find people to meet up with in the places I travel to,to learn about their favorite restaurants,sights and spots. To make new friends and to learn new things.

Interests

I have a huge interest in art and everything art connected. I could spend hours in museums and galleries. I also like to just wander around cities and just see where I like it.
I also love football and especially Bayern Munich!
As I´m a vegetarian I love to cook and try new recipes.
With my host children I used to bake a lot, so there´s always some kind of cookies,biscuits or cake in the house.

I can share my knowledge in art history and literature. But also my questionable taste in music and good conversations. And if you like vegetarian food, I´d consider myself quite the good cook ;)
