Hey! My name is Eliška and I lived almost my entire life in Czech Republic, small country in the heart of Europe. I grew up in a small town Kolín and then moved to the capital, beautiful Prague, to study Marketing Communication at Charles University and then find a job as Social Media Manager in advertising agency. Since than I've been living in this amazing city but apparently it is not enough as I am a person who likes to move constantly and I am more than happy when I have an opportunity to explore new places and new people. This is why I try to travel as much as I can and on that account I spent one summer in south of France as au-pair to learn French and one semester in Rotterdam, Netherlands as an university exchange student.

Besides my passion for traveling, my most beloved thing to do was always dancing (latin dances, street dance, contemporary, I love it all!). And eating of course, Italian cuisine is my favourite (and yes, I DO RECOGNISE PIZZA HAWAII AS A REAL THING).

My mantra: I love food and food loves me.

The way I peel banana: from the nasty bit of banana, duuuh, the only correct way.

I LOVE: bizarre stuff on the internet, memes, doggos, day drinking (especially during summer festivals), when I arrive home in the middle of the night and still manage to take off my make up

I HATE: when I fail high five (I am pretty bad at this), when I misspell tommorow, Jake Paul, the way they depreciated Ed Sheeran's songs by playing it all the time everywhere, that there are no guitars in the new Arctic Monkeys' album

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Half year ago I made a big step in my life - I applied for Working Holiday Visa for Canada and it worked. Yay! I am coming on June 20 to find a job in Banff/Canmore/Jasper/Lake Louis as I want to live in one of the most beautiful places on our planet. Through Couchsurfing I'd like to meet new people (does not matter if you're local or traveler as I am, I am excited about everyone who has decided to spend some of his or her time in this amazing place).
