About Me

I'm an 18 year old girl from Germany and I'm going to study Landscape Architecture and Planning in October. I want to be an Environmental Engineer in order to protect the nature from all the emissions and from those people who don't respect our environment.
The most important thing for me though is finding true happiness and experiencing life. I always wanted to see the world, especially Hawaii. If you grew up in a country like Germany where every day's weather seems to be predicted by a random generator you would probably want to escape from it, at least for a couple of months.
I'm an active girl who likes to do anything that's interesting and I'm willing to learn new different things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm actually searching for a place to stay at on Maui Hawaii. Since I'll be doing an internship in my fifth semester I wanted to choose Maui. Its beautiful landscape and nature make me desire being there. I feel like Hawaii can feel like home. People over there seem so much happier than the people here in Munich. You're always rushing around and trying to be as successful as you can and I'm sick of it. People are being so materialistic these days. If you don't fit in to this world you have to leave. And I want to leave for Maui.
I'm not sure yet about the fact if I'll be visiting Maui before 2017 but I'm totally looking forward to it anyway! I'm searching for a place to stay at over a specific time period. I think it would be 01/10/2017 - 31/03/2018.

Interests

I like to read books by Nietzsche, Hesse, Schiller... I like thinking about the meaning of life and I want to figure out what it means being on earth.
Playing the guitar, singing and just being creative are important things to me. Poetry makes me very emotional. I also like doing sports. Going for a walk, going by bike, playing volleyball, going for a swim, hiking....
I'm a member of STAM. We're a duo based in Munich. My friend Fabian and I decided to found a band and we try to combine acoustic music, minimal music, ambient.... just anything!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm such an indie lover. Indie Rock, Indie Pop, Alternative.. I also love Folk! Ambient and Sunday Night Chill is very relaxing too though.

Some of my favorite musicians are Angus and Julia Stone, The Naked and Famous, The XX, Foals, Daughter, John Mayer, The Jezabels, Crystal Fighters, Radiohead, The war on drugs, MsMr, Boom Clap Bachelors, SoKo, Animal Collective, Purity Ring, Asbjorn, London Grammar.... aww, I'd give my right arm to visit the Coachella Festival at least once in my life.!

I love watching sci fi's. The Maze Runner, Interstellar, The Giver, The Purge...those were awesome.
Drama, Comedy and Romance are great genres too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess one of the most amazing things I've ever done was visiting an ancient castle in Lisbon. The sun was setting, the weather was beautiful, it was very quiet and so melancholic. I loved it. It made me think about life's priorities.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you playing the guitar and speaking vietnamese! I'm not good at cooking but at least I can teach you how to make spring rolls!
I'd love sharing experiences and advices with you, spending time together at weekends and just having fun.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my culture, my experiences, my hobbies with you! Enjoying life is the most important thing.
