I live with my partner (João), our son, our dog (Akira) and our cat (Faísca) in Wellington, Somerset since the end of February 2015. We moved from Portugal to England. We both work as carers and love it very much.
We are both very interested in movies and music. We like to meet new countries, different cultures and different people. We like to stay at home, but also to visit new places.
I have a masters in Educational Psychology, but I'm not working in the field at the moment. My partner was studying to be a pilot in the portuguese Air Force. But, crazy as we are, we left everything behind to live the dream of living in England, work close to home and have a backyard. And here we are!
Last, but not the least, I am a vegetarian. João is not (but loves to eat "my" food, that he cooks. hahaha).

P.S. We have pets, so we'll have pets hair everywhere. They're no allowed on the sofa, but the hair will be on the floor and on your clothes (as much as we hoover the floor). If you're not ok with it, we're very sorry that we'll miss the opportunity to meet you and that you'll not have the amazing opportunity to meet our lovely pets.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to meet new people and to be able to share experiences and our spare room or sofa with who wants it. We also want to travel and know places from the eyes of the locals, instead of just the touristic places, and experience different cultures.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have our baby's bedroom, where we can place an airmatress. We can also place an airmatress in the living room, as you'ld have more space, but would be less private. We love food and to eat, so we can offer tasty delights if you are willing to try different foods (it doesn't mean that we'll do it all the time, as we not always have the time or money to cook for more people - sorry).
