About Me

こんにちは。はじめまして

I am staying in Tokyo for a few months and want to explore japan and learn things the guide books don't tell me. I want to learn Japanese too and would love to share with you what I can from my countries and culture.

Things that make me feel alive: Sea, rivers, wild spaces, good books, good films, people who pop into my life serendipitously, dancing.

I was born in Namibia, have two sisters, grew up in Cape Town in the arms of a mountain and an ocean. I have been travelling for over a year now and study Neuroscience at Bristol.

The world is delicious and I am thrilled and excited to meet more of the people who have made it the way it is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The stories I hear about couchsurfing sound like the start of fairytales, or magical realism, or just like stories about how life should be: filled with lovely, generous people who want to learn and share and meet people. I want to be a part of this movement away from a capitalist lifestyle towards one where people share what they have and listen and communicate.
Thank you for giving my profile some attention. Stay well xxx
