About Me
Hi,
I am a current MBA candidate at Tulane University in New Orleans. I came to the US this January and came across couch surfing as probably the best way to experience this diverse country.
Over the past five years I have made many international friends and I highly value this friendships. When ever a person from a different culture and/or country invites me into their life to experience their way of life, I am not only moved but deeply grateful of the experience.
I am a fairly sociable person who likes to converse and who is easy to talk to. Of the course of my university studies I have lived in many shared apartments and thus have a strong sense of respecting other peoples property and privacy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is probably the best way to get in touch with locals, to broaden once own horizon, and to form new friendships.
Interests
Developing and discussing ideas that could be turned into a successful business. Everything entrepreneurship is what makes my brain go flat out and become creative.
Also, I am very much into sports, ranging from powerlifting and CrossFit to surfing and stand up paddling. At the same time I read a lot about exercise and nutrition science.
Aside from sports, I am interested in social psychology and personal development.
Something new that I only picked up recently is photography.

Music, Movies, and Books
The music I listen to is manly electro/house (Kaskade, Deadmau5,..) and Rock ( Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Doors, Rolling Stones,..) and every now end then rap music by The Beastie Boys or Macklemore.
As far as movies are concerned, I am a big fan of everything "God Father I-III" and similar, the Bourne movie franchise, and TV shows such as How I met your Mother and Californication.
The most books that I read are sports or business related (like many I am a big fan of Tim Ferriss) as well as from the field of social psychology. Every now and then there is also a autobiography among them like the one of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am a reliable and caring friend to everyone who wants to be friends with me.
(Might sound lame but is one of the things in my life that I care most about)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can probably give a three-hour talk on nutrition science or on how to squat with perfect form (I believe that I am quite educated in this field for a non-scientists).
Furthermore, I love to discuss great ideas about business and life.
