Divorced father of 4 (yes four) children. Living and working in HK while kids live and study in Europe. Been travelling all over the world on business for the last 20 years and have an extensive network of good friends of many nationalities.

After having my first guests, thought I should add that I live on the South Side of Hong Kong island, next to Stanley. Its a beautiful spot, but its not at the beating heart of the city action :-) .. for which a bus or taxi trip is necessary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Thought it might be nice to further expand my global network of friends and also introduce a bit of additional variety in to my HK life :-)

Have many happy memories of being hosted by all sorts of new friends as I travelled the world when I was younger, especially a very special week in Sydney when someone who had picked me up hitching, gave me his mums address and told me she would be happy to look after me. I turned up and she was. I would like to occasionally offer the same hand to the next generation :-)
