About Me

Hello there! I´m Belen, I from Argentina 26 years old, and I´m physics´s student. I´m studying at the University of Mar del Plata.
I am also a filmmaker, I have studied for 3 years filmmaking career and I got a Diploma.
Only child, sadly there, my parents are divorced; my dad is a physicist and now he is doing his PhD. I have a big love for animals, especially dogs and also I have a crush on United Kingdom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Basically, we want travel to United Kingdom next year and it is really expensive for us. We also want to offer couchsurfing for foreigners in our home, here in Mar del Plata. Mar del Plata is a lovely big city, full of kind people, funny and exotic.

Interests

My interests are astronomy, music, world history (specially British and French history) and movies. I´m sure that I´ve more interests though. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A documentary of San Martin and his Granaderos. We travelled for all over the country doing this documentary. The premiere was at the Colón Theatre and it was a full house. I remember when the documentary finished, I looked at the crowd who stood applauding. Absolutely amazing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

What I can share is our cook, our culture and
custom, like Mate or Asado, phrases and sayings, our national history. Teach, if the host want to, our language. I know that our food are very different, for example, we drink Mate and English People drink tea. Our tea is horrible actually, so nobody drinks it. We can tell them about our land and the beautiful cities that it has.
