Overview
About Me
Hİ there,
Ezgi, from Turkey. I studied American literature and worked as a teacher. And then I gave a break to everything and found myself here in the U.S. I currently work as an Au pair in NY. I am going back next year to find some other adventures.
I am easy-going and friendly. My native language is Turkish. I speak fluent English too. In about a year or two I plan to have a master degree, but I haven’t made up my mind concerning my future area of specialization. I wanted to take some time out of academics to have a different life experience and to have time to calmly reflect on my future professional orientation and I thought spending a year abroad would be great.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel, discover new places, meet new people and exchange cultures and it is a great way to meet new people, to collect and share experiences while going around the world at the same time.
Interests
In my free time, I go skating or biking, meet friends. I love dancing. I am a good Salsa dancer. Avid movie watcher also. Especially thriller movies. I love travelling and experiencing new things. Till now I've been in many Turkish cities and also travelled to some other countries. Haven't had a 'couchsurfing' experience yet, though. I enjoy being outdoors, meeting friends, going for a walk, visiting places I haven’t been to. Music has a considerable place in my life too. I also like reading books – especially on psychology, taking photos, going to concerts and so on. I take pleasure in simple things in life.
