Hi! I'm Joline and I'm living in a small city, Paderborn, in the middle of Germany. I moved here in 2017 to do my studies to become a midwife. So at the moment I am quite busy with this.

When I finished school in 2015 I did my first trip on my own to Thailand. Since that time I have fallen in love with travelling and getting to know new cultures. I did some smaller trips through europe and a bigger trip through Indonesia.
Beside this I spent almost two month in Serbia volunteering with refugees. Actually this was a very intense and influencing time for me.

Aside from travelling I like doing yoga, visiting concerts, doing creative things and cooking vegan food.

In my eyes it's important to be grateful and to appreciate the small things in life. So I try as good as possible to achieve this in my life. I think that you shouldn't take life too serious, so don't lose your inner child.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have made some really great experiences with surfing on different couches. I love getting to know new people and to see how they life and how the life as a local is.

At the moment I don't have that much time to travel because of my studies, but I would really like to host some people on my couch here in Paderborn and to show them a little bit of my way of living.

I don't have a favourite music genre, it depends on my mood. I like reggae music, rap, rock, some electronic things....

If I have enough free time, I read a lot of books. I really love Harry Potter and Eragon , but I read a lot of philosophic books too.
