Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend and I will be doing a road trip through California in April 2015 and we would love to meet up, get some tips and/or stay with awesome other couchsurfers and learn more deeply about their place, people and culture.

In general i just think this is a cool idea and I would love to host some people when I am back home in South Africa.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved to Germany for 6 months for the international cultural experience. Then proceeded to travel near and far in Europe almost every weekend. It has been a lifelong dream for me to live abroad and travel and has enriched me in so many ways (and many more i'm still yet to realise)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about South Africa, the places, the people, some of the history, my culture and language (Afrikaans), how to braai (the best form of barbeque under the sun).

I would love to learn about you, your culture, your food, your history, your places.

Unity in Diversity is South Africa's motto and i firmly believe that diversity of people are the colours of the beautiful rainbow of people we have on earth so the more colours of people you get to know the clearer your picture of our stunning world is. (i know it sounds kum-ba-yaa but i really believe it)
