Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to get to know new parts of the world and meeting local people who make me discover things that aren't in my Lonely Planet guide. I love the idea of being part of a global community and meeting people from all over the world.

I am into literally ALL the Arts – film, music, fine arts, fashion, theatre, dance... Some other random things I love: Surfing, falafels, tacos, oceans, sunshine, working out and consuming all the cultural things listed above.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: Alt-J, Lana del Rey, Moderat... and basically anything I can sing along to
MOVIES: I like all the David Lynch stuff and can have a blast watching Guy Richie's early flicks. I am also really into all the usual suspects when it comes to TV series – Breaking Bad, True Blood, Game of Thrones and a German crime thing called Tatort... You get the idea ;)
BOOKS: I like Dickens, T.C. Boyle, some Shalom Auslander, everything by Matias Faldbakken and I can't get enough of Don Winslow

Several occasions of battling through waves that were way too intense for a Barney like me to surf but never giving up.
