Hi,
my name is Dominika. I was born in Bratislava (Slovakia), but moved to Prague, when I was 11 years old (because of my parents, of course). I'm currently studying Geography and Kartography at Charles University here in Prague.

I love travelling, adventures, nature, hiking the mountains, roaming anywhere, oh and I love animals. One day, I'm gonna be a lion keeper/saviour. But for now I own a dog - quite special one. It's Shiba Inu named Chika or "shelookslikeafox", like people like to say. Don't say that, seriously.

I'm also interested in books, movies, art or design, TV shows (Grey's anatomy all the way!) and sports.

Oh, and food. I LOVE FOOD, haha.

I can only surf, cause (unfortunately) I have no place on my own yet, but I would like to host as well, hopefully in the near future. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling, meeting new people and discovering different cultures (and their cuisine, haha), and I believe that Couchsurfing could make this so much easier and more fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

- I could listen almost everything. From rock and pop, to country or classical music - depends on my mood. But current favourite bands are e.g. Imagine Dragons, Bastille or One Republic.
- From movies I love drama, historical movies, detectives, animation and fantasy movies and even some crazy comedies when I need to turn off and relax. Some of my favourites are Lion King, Born Free, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Dark Knight, LOTR, HP, Inception, Mononoke or Spirited Away.
- All time favourite TV shows are Grey's Anatomy (I'm kinda addicted to it), Gilmore Girls, Friends, Black Books, Game of Thrones, Sherlock and TBBT.
- From books, I've always loved Harry Potter, Eragon and other fantasy books. But also a classical literature such as Pride and Prejudice, Sophie's Choice, 1984, Animal Farm, Of Mice and Men
