We were both born in California and studied at the same University. But we didn't meet until we worked together in Malawi, Africa!!
Now we're going on a Norwegian adventure together!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are in Norway to hike and meet new people! Couch surfing is a great opportunity to experience new cities with local insight--- we are eager to hear about new customs/traditions and to learn about all the locals favorites.

We would love to couch surf with you and talk about your city, especially about all the best hiking spots! We will be sleeping on couches in between our long hikes and overnight backpacking trips so we will be eager to live it up in civilization and explore your city and nightlife!!

We're both creative, energetic, talkative, artistic, and smiley girls! We love being active, seeing new things, eating, drinking, and making memories at any hour!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We both worked for one year with 10 friends in Malawi, Africa. We ran malnutrition clinics for children and pregnant mothers and would be happy to share our stories in person!

Rachael has also backpacked the John Muir Trail, 200 miles, from Yosemite to the peak of Mt Whitney!
