I am 21 years old student from Denmark. I am currently having gap year - on my second year. I graduated from highschool in 2014 and the past, almost, 2 years i have been trying to travel as much as possible. For me it's all about experiencing different cultures and people. i love meeting people, hear the stories they have and i find inspiration from every single of them. you can learn a lot from books and watching the news - but it's never the same when you experience it yourself, why i find it so truly amazing. And that fact encourage me even more to travelling. i've been working abroad in Thailand as a kitesurf instructor and currently in Japan working in a small pension and guiding backcountry skiing in Madarao. besides that i've been in Mauritius for 3 months kitesurfing and volunteering as a english teacher. i've backpacked through south east Asia, India and Sri Lanka.
I am generally a laid back person who take things as they come along. I just want to have a good time whether it is sightseeing, working, partyiing or just a simple conversation.

I just want to learn things, that aren't written and cannot be.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am gonna travel around in Japan for 2 weeks and i want to show my girlfriend how travelling is like. Some of my great highlights from backpacking around was the homestays i had in India, Sri Lanka and Laos. The homestays are where you truly meet the culture and the people within and that's why i am on couchsurfing now. 2 weeks is not very long time to establish contacts for homestays - so i am trying couchsurfing to get these contacts. I want to show my girlfriend the beauty of travelling!
