Hello,

We are Etienne and Sylvain. We are 30 and 36 yo. We live together for 6 years in Paris.

We work in marketing in a french radio station (Etienne) and for a home-support program in a non-profit structure (Sylvain).

As you can guess we are a gay couple.

We both are easy-going and friendly people, looking for meeting nice people and spending happy hours wherever we can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's our first time on CS. We're gonna try it during our next vacation in the US : we're planning a road trip from 20th June to 14th July 2015, from Chicago to LA !
We'll spend many hours driving in amazing landscapes, so we'd like to have the rest of the time meeting friendly american people to share and learn a bit more about this fascinating country.

We also would like to host people in Paris, although we live in a small (but very central) studio apartment.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's hard to make a choice !

Talking about music, right now we can't stop listening to the latest album of Madonna. In french music, we do like Stromae and are ultimate fans of Mylène Farmer (she's a very famous singer in France - you probably don't know her, we can update you if you like ;-)

We like, among other directors, David Lynch's and Lars von Trier's movies. The last movie that struck us is Mommy, by the canadian young director Xavier Dolan. We are also very fond of TV series : The Wire, Treme, Soprano, The West Wing, House of Cards, and so many others. In french series, we like Engrenages, Un village français, Les Revenants...

Right now, we're of course reading (or rereading) Steinbeck and Kerouac novels to set the mood of our american road trip !

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you welcome us to your home, we will be very happy to spend time with you, visiting your favorite places or going out in bars and restaurants (or even to take you with us if you want to join us for a part of our journey).

If you come to Paris, we can do the same in the evenings and at week ends.
