About Me

I am the guy who talks a lot, often have stupid ideas but in other time he's a voice of reason. Meeting other cultures and different ways of living makes me more and more curious about the world. Every new person contributes something different, something special to our lives. Everyone sees the world in his own uniqe way. And it's tremendous to meet the new one's! Totally!
What more about me? I'm still studying. I am also this nice guy who comes and helps with tidying, cleaning, making meals, organising, etc. Rather modest than prideful, rather kind than rude, rather smiling than being sad, rather joking than being mad!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I inherited love for traveling from my parents. I had begun travelling with them before I even could remember. Besides travelling for sightseeing they were taking me to Carpathian Mountains and the Alps also (since being a child till teen). After I came to college I've started looking for another ppl to travel with. Then I found a friend with whom I finally could. That was the moment I've met CS. We decided to go for a big trip from Milano through Venice, Treviso, Trieste, Ljubljana, Maribor, Graz, Vienna and Brno back to Poland. I've met a lot of great, kind and friendly people who helped us disinterestedly. We've met a lot of hosts, many great people with big hearts. And I decided to be part of all these - community consisting of people addicted to discovering the world's beauty and helping others do the same!My bad I decided to make an account after the journey - that's the reason of so few references :/

Music, Movies, and Books

Recently I've started to listen to classical music and film music. It's chilling, has this inimitable vibe and really releases emotions. I also enjoy a bit of house music, country sometimes or just some pop or r&b music.
When it comes to movies I love sci-fi and fantasy. But the thing is I just love movies. I can talk about them a looot. On filmweb.pl (it's like imdb site) i got about 900 movies marked. So if you want to ask what to watch in the evening - just tell me what's your taste :)
For books matter - unfortunately I have little time to read them nowadays, but obviously fantasy and sci-fi is my bag.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been on a hitchhike trip with my friend Luke from Milano back to Poland. We've come to Milano by plane, then stayed two days on Couchsurfing sightseeing the city and meeting many lovely people. After that we travelled to Venice with a lot of strange but eventful adventures. Our host in Treviso (village near to Venice) told us kinda funny thing. He said "Get lost". We got scared a bit. But he ended: "Get lost in Venice". And he was right. Losing our bearings was one of the most wonderful advices we could have got. We found the beauty of Venice strolling throught the narrow lanes. Afterwards we went towards Trieste. After few another adventures we came to the Erasmus' party in our next host's home. That was really unexpected and awesome. And we were actually his first couchsurfing guests! Hope you're doing good François! Our next goal was Ljubljana in Slovenia. Leaving Trieste was really hard, we actually got a lift in the late evening and we were so thankful to God. Ehh. I feel like it was yesterday. Really. But coming there was also pretty cool. We met Tadej and his italian friend. But it's for another tale. Later me and Luke tried to leave Ljubljana but it was in vain! We had to take a train in the middle of the night! Bad timing hurts hard guys. Believe me. Next days were also hard. But we kept going. We met another incredible hosts in Maribor and then in Vienna. The whole journey ended good, we are still alive, with tons of great memories. And we got this hunger for more. Couchsurfers - you know what I mean!
