Ma. Nina Regina Maningo Quibod is a graduate of Masters of Science in Wildlife Studies in University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB). She finished her master’s degree last April 2013 and received recognition in various honor societies such as Gamma Sigma Delta Honor Society for Agriculture and Phi Sigma Biological Science Honor Society. She finished her BS Biology degree in University of the Philippines Mindanao in year 2008.

As a graduate student, she volunteered in UPLB Museum of Natural History (MNH) and helped in various field surveys and specimen collection, processing and cataloguing. She also volunteered as a demonstrator for summer short course on Methods and Analysis for Biodiversity Survey for Beginners, also spearheaded by UPLB MNH.

She worked on various terrestrial fauna survey in UP Los Banos, including projects funded by National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and UPLB Basic Research. She was a Research Assistant/Project Development Officer in UP Manila from 2009-2010.

She has previously worked with AECOM Philippines Inc. on the Environmental Impact Assessment of Solomon Islands Nickel Mine Project as a field research assistant for Volant mammals. She's became a full-time Environmental Scientist with the company from November 2012 to May 2014. Now she's a full-time instructor and researcher at Adamson University.

She specializes in studying the ecology of mammals, especially bats; but she is also an occasional birder and herpetologist.
