I'm Aleks and after three years of studying languages in Poland I fled to China to study Chinese from the best :) After a year in such a distant place I realized during this time I saw more places in Asia than I saw throughout my whole life in Europe. Now that I'm back in Poland I want to visit as many places in Europe as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing helps. It makes travelling easier, it makes meeting new people easier and it helps to trust people more. And it's such an adventure.

Interests

My hobby is to pretend that I will never have to become an adult with no time and money for travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like music. Just music. I don't like classifying music according to its kind and I've always had a problem with the question "What kind of music do you listen to?"
I like movies I've already seen and books I've already read, simple :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, I hitchiked to Croatia, through Czech Republic, Austria and Slovenia. It took me 1,5 day to get to Rijeka. At night I tried to sleep hidden in the bush, but after one guy started to pee into my "house", I felt a strong pressure to move somewhere else. I ended up at the gas station's restaurant where I fell asleep while listening to Mission Impossible in the background. 3 times in the line. Awesome.

And once I tried to learn Mongolian throat singing.

I'd like to learn some phrases in languages I don't know, I'd like to know how to prepare dishes I don't know and, basically, I'd like to learn stuff that I don't know yet.
