About Me

Hi hi! I'm a brazilian born chinese jazz singer, and have design as second job... (when necessary... :)).
My life is surrounded with passion for arts in various types... Whether photography, to music, cinema or food... Love the connection between them... And it explains a lot about my creative and easygoing spirit!

Certainly the best thing you can do in life is just packing your bags up and hit the road to explore new places, cultures and people who are very different from your creation and learn new perspectives from others experiences of living as well. Goal of life: go to (at least) a country i've never been, each year.

Life is too short and amazing to get doing the very same things, everyday!

"All paths lead to death. Get lost!"

Rarely party. I prefer to spend an afternoon preparing a lovely dinner among friends, share some bottles of wine, talking bullshit and sharing laughs until dawn.

Love all kind of animals, specially large bread dogs (have a dalmatian).

- Amyr Klink

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend presented myself the C.S. on 2015, and it's definitely changed the way i face a trip. Ever since I've met exceptional and wonderful souls, people who have been my greatest inspiration and reference for keeping myself on the road!

I believe that we are not in the world for attachments, because in the end, we will die with nothing.
Someone who values the exchange of experiences, energies and tries tirelessly to search for the different versions of me, in new spaces on this little planet.

And CS has completely changed my concept of traveling, of seeing the world. There is no better way for you to know yourself through the perspective of local people. There is no better form of self-knowledge than testing your limits, exploring the stranger, living like a local, anywhere in the world.
*********************************

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: All kind of Jazz, Classic, Brazilian, Beatles, Classic rock... It varies a lot!
Movies: El Segredo de Su Ojos, Central do Brasil, The Artist, A Partida (Japan), Finding Neverland, Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulin, The Godfather (1,2,3), The Soloist, The Theory of Everything, The Road Home, Frida, Beautiful.
Books: My father's auto-biography, Spirituals, Logosophy, Vipassana, biographies in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cancelled an important concert I was suppose do perform (two weeks before) in 2012, and the next day, I was invited to act in a feature film, in a fishermen beach village, in the north-east of Brazil. Total hab.: 900... isolated from great metropolis. I spent 2 months in Guajiru, abstaining from all sorts of technology.

To jump in the 2nd highest Bungee Jump (709 feet high) in the world, in South Africa.

Vipassana is, so far, the most amazing experience I had in my whole life, and it keeps leading me with endless waves of transformation.

Spending 14 days in an Amazon village, and understand (from many trips I've been through), that my country is, undoubtedly, one of the most beautiful and exuberant places on earth (even most of Brazilians still don't believe it).

*****************************************

Teach, Learn, Share

I rather learn than teach... But I really like the idea of exchanging culture experiences... such as teaching how to dance samba, how to make a good caipirinha (brazilian drink) or making a good brazilian/chinese recipe, or even how to do what I love the most in my life: to sing!

**********************
