About Me
I'm a traveller, I love moving around and meeting new people, learning about their culture, hearing their story, etc...
My friends tell me I am an extreme extrovert as I'm super talkative and make friends pretty easily but, like everyone else, I also like my peace and quiet sometimes! ;)
Cooking, reading, going to the cinema, hiking, going to the restaurant, going out with friends, hot yoga, normal temperature yoga, boxing, rowing, kayaking, running, walking around, sightseeing, meditating, swimming, sailing... I'm up for pretty much anything! (No bungy jumping though, was traumatized by The Fresh Prince of Bel Air!) No so great with heights and super clumsy but willing to try everything at least once! :D
I've been an ESL teacher for nearly 7 years now and I'm lucky because it's my dream job! It allows me to travel (I taught in Oz, the UK and currently in Canada!) and meet people from all over the world as well as give people the tools they need to achieve their dreams or change their lives! I feel blessed to have such an amazing and rewarding job!
Just in case it isn't obvious from this, I'm a pretty positive person and I'm also a little bit hyperactive!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because some of my friends have been couch surfers or hosted couch surfers and ranted about it so much that I decided I really wanted to try it and see what beautiful people I could meet through it!
Interests
Ok, as can be seen in the 'about me' section I like a lot of different things!
I love going to the movies and be engulfed in the story told by the actors and director. It is also why I love reading! (minus the actors and directors)
Spending time outdoor is really something I need as well as doing some physical activity because I need to get some energy out! Last month, I did a course called Warrior Training to learn how to use a long sword, side sword and poleaxes, before that I worked at a hot yoga studio in exchange for free classes, not sure what I'll be doing next...
I also need to learn new things on a regular basis, just because I'm super curious and I like to understand how things work! I took an ASL (American Sign Language) course for the last few months and I'm planning on continuing to learn this awesome language!

I went from being an ESL student to being an ESL teacher in 3 years! And honestly, my English was rubbish when I started!
