About Me
Hey there! I'm Joan Faubel a 25 years-old guy from València (Spain) and I'm studying a master in Chemical Engineering in Copenhagen (Denmark).
I consider myself an outgoing and friendly person who likes spending time with others. In my free time, I love meeting up with people for eating and drinking beer/coffee, reading and doing sports (running, swimming, raquet sports, cycling...).
I've lived in four different countries for the last two years - Spain, Ireland, Italy and Denmark, so I really like meeting people from all over the world and share experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am a young and open-minded person who loves spending time visiting and finding out new places while understanding other cultures and other ways of thinking and living.
The reason why I am looking for an accommodation here is the exchange of knowledges and experiences. Locals are the best to explain the interesting facts and places about their cities. I really enjoy meeting new people and sharing my culture, language, traditions and philosophy....
Interests
I am a musician, I play the trombone. I love listening to music and playing it.
I really enjoy doing sport too. I like to play tennis, football, swimming...all the sports!
But my main interest is to travel around the world and meet new people, new cultures and new places to have new experiences which may change my life.
Life is something that happens once. Carpe diem and live the life!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am very youg to do interesting things, but I am always trying it! For example, I have taken off and landed on several occasions with pilots into cockpit.
Another interesting thing I did with my friend Pau was to travel around the Basque Country with my van! Yes, we were travelling for a week with my van to discover the most amazing cities and places in Basque Country. The advantage of that was that we didn't have to expent money in accommodation and we spent our budget in food (Basque coisine is one of the best in Spain) and we both really love eating good food.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn basic words from the countries I visit, and some interesting facts and myths.
If you are interested in learning something about Spanish culture, language, cooking or whatever you wish, I am sure I will be able to help you! :)
If someboy is studying something related in Chemistry, Maths, Physics...maybe I can help, due to I am a Chemical Engineer. I also can teach something related with music and first aids (I am a Lifeguard), if you are interested.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share whatever I have with me, from water or clothes to knowledge or thoughts I have in my mind.
