About Me

Thirty year old man travelling Europe in a van. Will sing poorly, cook or share bad jokes in exchange for a place to stay and a chance to meet cool people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm travelling Europe this winter with my van and would like to meet awesome people along the way.

Interests

Snowboarding, climbing, surfing, skateboarding, slacklining and downhill mountain biking. In general, things that really hurt if you do it wrong. I'm also going to try diving on this trip. I'm a restless person, in the best sense of the word, and like to move around. I also play football, basketball and such sports if the opportunity presents itself. Lately yoga has become a big part of my life. Namaste everyday.

Love nature; hiking, camping, swimming, climbing trees and looking for squirrels. I'm interested in organic living, meaning sustainable, clean energy and food.

I like both profound and pointless conversations, bad jokes and political discussions. I especially enjoy talking to people who doesn't take life too seriously and have different perspectives on the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

All arts (e.g., music, literature, poetry, street art, graffiti, movies, dance, and hand painting) interests me immensely. I spend a lot of my time searching for beautiful arts and, in turn, enjoying them, drawing inspiration from them and sharing them.

I also practise a few arts, or at least I try to. I play the drums, the guitar and sing loudly and badly when I get the chance. I like to draw and sometimes I write stuff that nearly rhymes, sounds kind of profound and almost makes sense.

As for preferences I will try and drop some names. In fact I'm open to many types of art, but here are some of my favourites, in a very random order:

Tim Burton. Nirvana. Shantaram. Cultura profetica. The Who. The Doors. The Black Keys. The White stripes. Florence and the Machine. Quentin Tarantino. Guillermo del Toro. TheShallowTree. Paulo Coelho. Jo Nesbø. Mark Ryden. Danny Larsen. The Beatles. Banksy. Aldus Huxley. George Orwell. Hozier. Cypress Hill. Terry Pratchett. And so much more..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The other day I saw a duckling being carried on the back of a goose. True story.

The most amazing thing I've done is probably leaving for Australia alone, 18 years old with bad english, to study journalism. Also, last summer, me and some friends started a summer camp for troubled kids in Norway. Dude, that was awesome.
