This is always a tough question for me to answer. I never know what to say...I guess for starters, I'm currently college student with many aspirations that I hope to accomplish before the good Lord calls me home! Traveling around the world and visiting as many countries, and learning about their culture is just one of them! I LOVE to laugh, talk, and sing, so be prepared! :P Overall, I'm a kind, laid back, easy going (beach bum at heart), likes to be spontaneous kind of gal, who loves life and wants to live it to the fullest!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing because I love to travel and meet new people, and what better way to see the sites, experience the culture, and get to meet the locals than to crash on a locals couch?! Haha :)

Interests

My interest are singing (I'm studying opera), dancing (preferably salsa), listening to music, playing percussion, drawing, free diving, boating, dolphins/marine life, traveling, spending time on the beach, anything Disney, hanging out with friends and family, playing with kids, talking, riding horses, hiking, and running.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music (in no particular order) is: 50's , American country, Latino, 80's, hip-hop, soft rock, broadway musicals, classical (instrumental and opera), Disney, Indie, and jazz. I don't have one particular favorite, it all just depends on my mood!

My favorite movies are (in no particular order): Dirty Dancing, The Little Mermaid, The Avengers, Beauty and the Beast, The Notebook, Star Wars, 21 Jump Street, The Hangover, Shawshank Redemption, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Heat, Forrest Gump, Footloose, Frozen, Pride and Prejudice, Shrek, Phantom of the Opera, My Sisters Keeper, P.S. I Love You, Bridesmaids, Schindler's List, Guardians of the Galaxy, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Walking Dead, Criminal Minds, and many, many more!

As for my favorite books, I'm not a big reader. I would much rather explore outside or chat. However, I did really like Jane Eyre and The Hunger Games.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have done? I took a group of special education students to prom my sophomore year of high school. I helped them get dressed, did their hair and make up, took them out to eat, and then danced with them on the dance floor at prom,. It was a really rewarding experience! :) Oh, and I'm currently studying abroad in Europe for 6 months which, when coming from a small farm town in the United States, is a pretty big deal.

Teach, Learn, Share

Be patient when teaching. Be inquisitive about the world. Share your knowledge, as well as your smile and a helping hand with everyone. Especially, the ones who need it most. That's how I try to go about life. As for what I could teach you myself, I have no idea.
