About Me

Hi Couchsurfers! This is Michele, a normal guy, unable to write proper presentations on social-networks. I'll try to give you a picture of myself.

I'm 21 years old and come from a nice city by the see in South Italy. Studying communication design, I moved to Milan, in the north of the country. I finished Uni this summer and I'll move to London for an internship in a design studio. Who knows what's going to be next. By now, I try to keep on traveling and loving life…

If you would like to judge me as a designer as well, check this out: https://www.behance.net/mdelcore

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that traveling is part of everybody's life and I think that everybody (if possible) should (sometimes) leave (more or less) everything behind and go somewhere (better if he has plans). I'm on Couchsurfing, because I think it's the ultimate way of traveling. It combines two of the best ways to enjoy a new place: you save money (true) and you meet local people, ready to host you and show some hues of their city (more than true). I hope to become an host soon and try to live the both sides of CS!

Interests

I love photography and design in general. I'm interested mainly in reportage photography, which I think is one of the best way to tell what's going on in our world.

I've been playing piano and electric bass for some years but I'm definitely better at listening to music with my headphones or going to a gig. I like reading too. I like novels (every kind) and essays (focused on anthropology). Is it a plus?

I'm an average guy and basically everything interests me, outdoor activities as well. I'm not a real athlete but I like to challenge myself and do sport every now and then. Once, in Norway, I hiked for 22kms in the early early morning. But in the end I made it to Trolltunga, which is probably one of the most stunning places I've ever been to.

I'm probably missing better things that would make me look more interesting but, as I said, I'm not good at writing this stuff. Far way better at real conversations!

Oh, beer! I like beer!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing my Erasmus Exchange in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland. It consisted mainly in waking up with -30°, admiring northern lights, feeding reindeer and falling form my bike on icy slopes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't think I could be able to really teach something. I'd probably be more able to share with you how to cook a good Carbonara and you would end up learning it!

btw, I'm ager to learn everything I don't know and it doesn't matter what's about. You never know what's going to come in handy.

What I Can Share with Hosts
