I am Steffen, born in September 1966 and a pilgrim and traveller with passion for it. The pilgrimage for me is a peaceful method of raising awareness on threats and topics to be changed to the better. Like the condition of the earth in combination with water, pollution, privatizing etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason to do couchsurfing is a pretty simple one. I founded an association called "Watersharing e.V." this year - and it is a charitable association to raise funds via sponsoring, crowdfunding and donations for things like drilling water fountains etc. for humans in dryer countries - just like in Asia or Africa.

Also to support acts against the plastic pollution etc.

To have as much money to support and save it for charitable activities and projects - couchsurfing is the possibility to do in countries without or with a lack of pilgrim hostals across the country or during winter seasons (like Germany, France, Italy etc.)

A clean earth, good places to stay, take pictures, help others, good food, and new and interesting company with exciting people
