Hi, my name is Juliana Afettouche Obando. I'm from Colombia because of my mother, and my father is from algeria-áfrica. I'm 19 years old, and right now i'm a student of communication with emphasis on audiovisual production. I've lived in Colombia since I borned in a small town called Cartago. But because of my university, I'm living alone in Cali, one of the best cities of my country. I'm a very kind and gentil person, and also I love meeting people around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found out this page on internet because I want to start travelling and helping people to came here to visit. I'm thinking about making a long travel so I need to find places where I can stay. Im very social, organized a d gentil, so it would be amazing to hace contact with other cultures and I can show a lot of thing about my culture, my lenguaje and my profession.

Since i was a little chlid I've practice sports. Basquetball, swimming, skating. But now im more into boxing, spinning and running. I love to ealk, im always walking and trying not to get a bus or take a taxi. Its really healthy. I enjoy of having a peacefull place qhere I can spend a few days for separate myself from the stress of my carrer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Im a huge fan of movies. I love watching and qorking at cinema. One of my favorite directors are Lars Von Trier, Tarantino and Clint Eastwood. I'm always in front of a screen finding out about new movies and tv series. Because of my profession, I'm interested in working at documentaries, fiction production, and editing it. Im very good at editing and its a great way to spent a few months without sleeping.

About my music taste, I'm a openned person. I listen to rap, hip hop, rock, electronic till the end. however, Its great to meet people who can teach more about bands and topic.

Im always reading, in my carrer its something that you have to work at. But leaving the authors and professors who I have to learn about for mu classes, I enjoy to read Leon Tolstoi, Victor Hugo, Truman capote, Agatha chisrtie...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

one amizing thing I did once was to start to travel my own country. I promise myself to travel around Colombia. It was amazing to have the oportunity of meet people of all other the world travelling here too. They loved this place and i love it too. The people its soo gentil and they will always be helpfull anything you need something. Aldo, I need to start my journey trying to know more about the outside and expecting to stay I little time in some other country to learn about.
