About Me

Hmm, well I'm 21, from Serbia, I'm studying electric engineering in Novi Sad. I really love to travel, to see the world with my own eyes, but I'm kinda poor at the moment and kinda very busy with my studies, so I haven't really traveled a lot - well until now Ive discovered CS ^^
Now I've really seen traveling is priceless (I got addicted maybe :D), you just learn so much, in the end you became a completely different person you've been before (thinking "I was such an idiot" xD)

I'm also a bit different, I never quite fit into some social groups. I try to think critically about everything, and I spend much time on the things I consider important (politics, health... ) even though it might be that I should really be studying at that moment hahah xD It's just that some things are more important than studying. I'm kinda completely the opposite of "ignorance is a bliss"-kind of people (and I hate that philosophy, it's so stupid it should be punishable :P).
I'm also quite interested in politics (actually geopolitics, not these TV shows u see in corporate media), in those little important things that are not so easy to find out about, and on all the other things impacting our society.

I'm also very much into fitness, and both physical and mental, generally trying to be the best I can be B) And that's why I don't party a lot, and I don't really like clubbing tbh, I prefer to spend my time meeting the people when you can really talk to them, and doing something meaningful.

I'm searching for that thing called wisdom, that most important knowledge you can get, to know how to live and be alive. And unfortunately there is no book from which you can learn it. :D But actually that's only a mean for achieving the goals we humans are really made for. And I don't know what that is, and I'm quite sure it's not even possible to comprehend it, but you can most completely fulfill it simply by following your heart - well that's my life philosophy in a nutshell ^^ And for your heart to be smart and to lead you without mistakes you need the wisdom =]

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well because I really want to meet the local people, to find out about the local society, that's maybe what I want the most from my traveling! =] To learn what they know, to try to see the things the way they are seeing them, to feel their everyday life, and that's why I'd like to have a lot of contact with my hosts! ^^
And who knows, it may turn out that we become friends for whole life. ^^

And for hosting, hmm, I was living in a dorm in Serbia for years, but this year I think I'll be living in a flat with my sister, so maybe would begin hosting ppl! ^^ To be updated...

Music, Movies, and Books

Uff, for music, I don't know, music is my second life tbh :D I'm going to do DJing now on summer, and making songs, not just playing them. I listen to music approx 15h per day, and 9h I sleep hahah. Often my mind composes new tunes when I sleep, that's very cool experience :D Sometimes I think that I shouldn't have even entered the engineering university :D
Ok, some of the stuff I like particularly (though majority of my favorite songs are from artists 99.99% of the population have never heard of):
Linkin Park, SoaD (especially the 1st album), Radiohead (1st 2 albums), Within Temptation (again 1st 2 albums :D), Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, The Cranberries, tATu, Pendulum, Moby, Chemical brothers, Gareth Emery, Eric Prydz, Above and Beyond (especially TATW series), ASOT series (dont like Van Buuren's original tracks much though, at least not his latest shit), Tiesto (old), Soundprank, Sunn Jellie, Ilya malyuev, Vangelis, Hans Zimmer, tLotR ost (the best of all osts)... Also some Serbian bands, but I guess u havent rly heard of them ^^

Movies and books - yes. :P but not so much
I think Ive written to much in this section already :D
Btw I actually spend 80-90% of my free time reading some stuff (while listening to music) (if u dont count gym as a free time), but not books, usually some articles online, news, on engineering, politics, history, on psychology, health...
And lately, as I've said, I've just realized that some of those things are actually more important than the nonsense I need study for my degree, so when I see some news on e.g. situation in Ukraine, it has the priority over anything I was studying at the moment (needless to say my grades have deteriorated significantly since I've began this practice xD)
