Overview
About Me
I'm 22, and I grew up in Dakar, Senegal !
I did my studies in Lille (France) in Maastricht (the Netherlands), in Italy, and travaled last year across South America! I'm currently in Paris, for my final year of studies !
I'm very open minded and sociable, and curious to learn about cultures, ways of living, traditions, new recipes, etc...
I'm keen to share experiences and nice moments with fellow travelers !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people from different countries. I like to travel using couchsurfing to meet locals who can show me around and tell me about their cultures, and I like to receive travelers when I'm home, to make me travel a bit too and be part of their traveling experience !
I think every couchsurfing experience is kind of unique, and I love the concept of traveling while being supported by locals' hospitality and kindness !
Interests
Music takes a huge part of my life: I sleep with music, wake up with music, shower with music, cook with music ... I basically hate silence ahah! I love Soul music, funk, jazz, rock&roll, blues, hiphop, french classic songs, Italian songs.... But I especially love live music. Like passing by a marching band in the street, going to small concerts, that kind of stuff.
I also like sports: football, surfing, boxing, rugby, ... A bit of everything.
And finally, I like modern arts (but not contemporary), theatre, photography...

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite artist: the Doors, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles, etc.
Books: Jack London (THE BEST OF ALL), Jack Kerouac, Albert Camus, Paulo Coehlo...
Movies: the Dead Poets Society (super cliché I know), Forrest Gump (especially the songs in the movie), The Godfather, the Goodfellas (basically gangster movies).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking (also very cliché I know) around South America was filled with crazy adventures ...
I also went around Elba island (Italy) for around 5 days, hitchiking, sleeping on beaches, and "showering" in public fountains.
