First of all, I just want to say I'm starting in this couchsurfing thing. So I don't have references but I hope have it soon! (I'm not weird, just new).

Last year I finished my degree in journalism. At the same time, I was in my second year of law, but I decided to do a break to come to the US to improve my english.
I was living last year in Portugal and I just realized how important is to me learn new things, live new experience, meet new people.. but at the same time, I'm always missing my home and my people.
I really love travelling and meet the real good places in each city, so, because of that, I love when I can go to a place where I know somebody. It's because of that I love couchsurfing, because it's a good experience to interchange learnings, about the place and about the different culture.

My best day would include for sure a good beach (I grew up near to the sea and I need it for live, all people who grew up near to the sea will understand this), a movie and something really good for food (perfect togueter, like watching Friends or Breaking Bad with some Ben&Jerry's Chubby Hubby ice cream)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Cause I love travelling to places where I know people. I love the interchange of culture, language, advices about the specific city where you're travelling, etc.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

About music, I love all kind and I don't have just one favorite group. In my play lists you can hear artick monkeys, beatles, the black keys, blondie, kings of leon, nina simone, oasis...
Same with movies. I have a long list already watched and another long one to see. I love fight club, love actually, breaking bad, the soprano, pulp fiction (all of Quentin Tarantino), Up, Harry Potter, American History X, Into the wild...
I love reading when it's a good book. For example, I could read all about García Márquez.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Come to US! Alone, knowing nobody, speaking not-so-good english...

I did paragliding. Amazing. I want to do parachuting now!

I went to Beijing and I had a situation. I was visiting a friend and she speak chinese. But not me or my other friend who was travelling with me. We was alone the first day (without my speaker chinese friend) and we just hit a guy in a bike with the taxi door (obviously without mean). Neither the taxi driver nor the bike guy spoke english. We was like 4 hours trying to do something with the guy (he was ok) and the taxi driver (he didn't let us go and he has our suitcases). That day I learnt how really important is know languages and people who can help you. (If you want to know how the story finish, host me or visit me!!!)
