Actualmente trabajo en Comunicación Social en el Gobierno del Estado de Oaxaca y estudio mi maestría los sábados. Estudié Comunicación y tiene dos años que me gradué gracias a Couchsurfing. Me gusta conocer personas y nuevas culturas. Soy muy tímida al inicio pero es muy común sentirme en confianza y desenvolverme con las personas. No suelo salir demasiado de casa porque me gusta descansar en los momentos libres que tengo pero si tengo tiempo puedo salir sin problemas.

Now I'm working in the government and I'm studying my Master on Saturdays. I was graduated two years ago thanks to Couchsurfing. I like to meet new people and new cultures. I'm very shy but then I can talk without problem if I feel comfortable with the company. I don't like to hang out because I want to rest in my free time but if I'm able to do it, I will do it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Porque si yo -todavía- no puedo salir de México, espero que la diversidad de culturas llegue a mí y tal vez en algún momento poder ser quien viva esta experiencia.

Because I'm not able yet to travel, I hope the different cultures and people come to me and maybe sometime be able to live this experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Me gusta todo tipo de música, desde los 50's hasta los 90's. Mi grupo favorito es The Beatles, en general el rock británico. Mis películas favoritas son las que estén ambientadas durante la Edad Media, piratas, detectives. Mis películas favoritas son El Señor de los Anillos. Me gustan los libros con temática histórica o ciencia ficción o fantasía.

I like different types of music since 50's to 90's. My favourite band is The Beatles, British rock generically. My favourites movies are about pirates, middle age and detectives. My favourites are The Lord of the Rings. I like the books about historical facts, science fiction or fantasy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Viajé con mi mamá por todo el Reino Unido e Irlanda por alrededor de un mes. Un día nos perdimos en el Reino de Fife y estuvimos 3 horas caminando a un lado de la carretera esperando el autobús, cuando vimos que era imposible y que comenzaba a oscurecer decidimos pedir aventón pero nadie se detuvo... hasta que un joven nos llevó en su pequeña van hasta un pueblo llamado Leven para tomar nuestro autobús a Edimburgo. Él fue muy amable.

I made a trip with my mum around the United Kingdom and Ireland for one month. One day we get lost in the Kingdom of Fife and we walked like 3 hours in the road waiting for the bus. When we realized there was no bus and the sun was going down I decided to made auto stop but no one did it... until one guy did. He took us in his little van to a little town called Leven to take our bus to Edinburgh. He was so kind.

Puedo compartir las experiencias buenas y malas que he tenido en Couchsurfing. Si estás aprendiendo español llevar una conversación para practicar o si hablas inglés que yo pueda mejorar mi inglés porque sé que no es muy bueno. Compartir lo relajante que es caminar por el centro de la ciudad, y si estás dispuesto a escuchar, algún dato interesante de Oaxaca.
